A two time winner of the New Zealand Pub Quiz Championship, Paul hosts quizzes on a regular basis.
As well as a regular weekly quiz at the New Brew Bar and Restaurant in Albany, Paul also hosts corporate, charity and fundraising events.
Paul is lucky enough to be close friends with Brendan Lochead and Shaun Wallace, AKA "The Dark Destroyer" from The Chase, the highly successful quiz show. New Zealand Pub Quiz Championship
A two time winner of the New Zealand Pub Quiz Championship, New Zealand’s signature event in both 2015 and 2023, Paul has captained both "Irrelephant" and "Trivia New Brew John" teams to the holy grail of quizzing in New Zealand.
Besides his wonderful wife and beautiful kids, these 2 nights are right up there in Paul’s proudest achievements to date, as there are some amazing quizzers at the Nationals.

The Oracle
Paul loves sport, so much so that he is the ‘Oracle’, a weekly segment on Sports Nation, where callers try to answer sports related questions and score more than him in one minute. Similar to ‘The Chase’, Paul has 60 seconds to catch their score, it’s often great radio. Tune in on Wednesday mornings at 8.40am, or even call in to try and score yourself a prize!
